In case you’re not familiar with it, a Sales Funnel is a system that you have in place, to help sort and sift your leads through.
It would be smart of you, to add a “Funded Proposal” component to your Sales Funnel, this way you are able to create revenue on the front end,while you build your primary business and residual income on the back end.
The following is an outline of my Sales Funnel and the setup, that I have found to be the most effective.
MARKETING:
By using various marketing channels & methods, such as Pay Per Click (PPC), Solo Ads, Article Marketing, Social Bookmark sites and countless other ways, you will drive traffic to your Sales Funnel.
- You must give this traffic truly valuable content that’s specific to the niche you are catering to, in order to get them to enter your Sales Funnel. Turning them into a lead.
PERSONAL CAPTURE PAGE:
In exchange for your valuable content, your prospects will provide you with their name, email address and most will even give you their phone number.
- You can create your own capture page or you can use one of the many marketing systems, that are available and allow you to customize a page.
- I encourage you to brand your capture page with YOU! Add a video of yourself, discussing the benefits to your prospects, if they request your valuable content.
EMAIL AUTO-RESPONDER:
Your auto-responder, will become an automated way for you to continue providing your leads with valuable content.
- This is accomplished by setting up your AR with pre-written, well thought out and relevant, email messages, which are set to automatically be sent.
- This is where the funded proposal comes in. Some! Not all of your messages, should have links to relevant and valuable tools that your leads can purchase.
FOLLOW UP & BUILD RELATIONSHIPS:
This is a vital step in the process. You must follow up with your leads and start to build a relationship with them.
- PICK UP THE PHONE! You read that right. Call your leads, they won’t bite you.
- It’s not like cold calling. If you branded yourself correctly, most will already know who you are when you call them. Again it’s vital you do this.
- Don’t solely rely on your auto-responder. From time to time send a personal message to your leads. Not trying to sell them something but just to say hello and to offer help.
- I also like to connect with my leads on Social Networking sites, like Twitter & Facebook. This way they get to see my family, the place I like to travel to and the things I like to do.
PRIMARY BUSINESS:
Throughout this whole process, I never pitch my primary MLM business to my leads. Because I have offered them valuable content, my help and formed a relationship with them, many ask me about joining my primary business.
So there you go! The Sales Funnel process I have setup. Will some opt-out, yes! Will some not purchase the tools offered in the system, yes! Will some not join my primary business, yes!
But it doesn’t matter. With a Sales Funnel as long as I’m feeding it. I will see results and so will you!
